About Us Prevailing Words is a husband and wife team composed of Josh and Sarah Snodgrass. We started our music ministry back in 2005 and this is our 3rd release. “My Heart is Yours” is a worship CD with simple, heartfelt songs. We’ve seen God work in wonderful ways during the writing and recording of this album. Over the last year as we’ve faced the tiresome but exciting responsibilities of being parents of two young boys we’ve often sought the peace that only the Lord’s presence can bring. These songs are a reflection of God drawing us to Himself and our pursuit of Him. I’m Free was the first song that we wrote. We finished it during our last tour and performed
it at the last few concerts. The response was
overwhelming as this song touched the hearts of many.
It was also on the radio in the Being young parents with very little time, we thought that we’d never get to record these songs. The Lord had plans. Josh works as a framer building houses and with the housing slump he’s had 2 months off. This would be very difficult for us financially except he had backed pay which paid for the time off! We believe that this has been the Lords miraculous provision for our needs. This also gave us just enough time to get the CD done. Also, Chris Tussing has helped us by playing drums, letting us use his studio and also by co-producing our CD. We’ve seen the Lord working in the whole project as everything has come together. It is our desire that these songs will be a blessing to you just as the Lord has used them to bless us. Please feel free to use these songs in your personal or church worship.
